Daniela holds the role of Engagement Lead EMEA and she is part of the Institute’s External Affairs Team. Based in Brussels, Daniela supports the development and implementation of the Institute’s public affairs strategy and action plan for Europe and Middle East regions to accelerate the deployment of CCS. As part of her role, she acts as a contact for the Institute with other relevant CCS bodies and maintains strong relationships with regional external stakeholders, including governments, media, and local communities. In addition, Daniela assists in tracking and analysis of policy developments relevant to CCS within the EMEA region.
Daniela holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’ (Italy).
Prior to joining the Institute in June 2021, she has worked for an international Brussels-based NGO which implements projects and activities at EU level.
Daniela speaks Italian, English and French.
